Please register to the FAI - CIMP Webinar "Return to flying after a pause" organised on:

  • Moderators: Thomas Drekonja, President of the FAI Medico-Physiological Commission (CIMP), Jacques Berlo, Vice-President of the FAI Medico-Physiological Commission (CIMP)
  • Guest speakers: 
    • Captain Mike Goulian- one of North America’s most decorated aerobatic pilots and a recognized aviation professional with 30+ years of experiences
    • Captain Christopher Friedl - is active in aviation at all levels. Professionally he is currently a senior pilot and line training captain for Wizz Air
  • Format: webinar via ZOOM (link will be shared one week prior to the webinar)

The webinar would raise awareness among both competition and general aviation pilots of the degradation of skills that take place whenever pilots take a break. The breaks can be short, a vacation, a medical situation or prolonged such as some pilots experienced during the COVID pandemic or the recurring lull in flying activities for many pilots during the winter months.
